Arizona State Credit Union's Announces Board of Directors Election Results
Arizona State Credit Union 58th Annual Meeting concluded with the Re-election of Marquetta White as Chair
PHOENIX, Ariz. - Arizona State Credit Union announced that Marquetta White was re-elected Board Chair for 2009. White, of Mesa, Arizona, has held numerous positions with the State of Arizona including Assistant Director of Taxpayer Services. Other Board Officers include Sam Wheeler, Vice Chair; Doug Martin, Treasurer; and Connie Ohanesian, Secretary.
At Arizona State Credit Union's 58th Annual Meeting, three Directors were elected to additional three year terms on the Board. Returning Directors include Doug Martin, Connie Ohanesian and Quentin Bogart. Directors continuing in office include Frank Felix, Ray O'Connor, Shane Siren, Joseph C. Smith and Marquetta White.
The all volunteer Board of Directors of Arizona State Credit Union is elected by members. They are not compensated for their service and act in accordance with the best interests of the Credit Union's members. Each Board member is elected to a three-year term, and officer positions are held for one year terms.
The Annual Meeting held April 18, 2009, included a review of 2008 accomplishments and a report on plans for 2009. President/CEO David E. Doss discussed the Credit Union's strong financial standing and its commitment to continue to create member value through solid, conservative and responsible business practices.
