Arizona State Credit Union’s Board of Directors Elects New Chair
Arizona State Credit Union’s 57th Annual Meeting concluded with the election of Marquetta White as Chair; Directors elected.
Phoenix, Ariz.—Arizona State Credit Union announced that Marquetta White was elected Board Chair for 2008. Other Board Officers include Sam Wheeler, Vice Chair; Doug Martin, Treasurer; and Connie Ohanesian, Secretary.
At Arizona State Credit Union’s 57th Annual Meeting, three Directors were elected to additional three year terms on the Board. Returning Directors include Frank Felix, Sam Wheeler and Marquetta White. Directors continuing in office include Quentin Bogart, Ray O’Connor, Shane Siren and Joseph Smith.
The all volunteer Board of Directors of Arizona State Credit Union is elected by members. They are not compensated for their service and act in accordance with the best interests of the Credit Union’s members. Each board member is elected to a three-year term, and officer positions are held for one year terms.
The Annual Meeting, held April 19, 2008, included a review of 2007 accomplishments and a report on plans for 2008. President/CEO David E. Doss discussed the Credit Union’s financial strength and detailed plans to further expand its electronic delivery channels in the year ahead.
