Resident of Prescott Valley Wins 2008 Toyota Prius
Phoenix, Ariz. - As the waiting list for the Toyota Prius and other fuel-efficient cars continues to grow, Arizona State Credit Union will be giving one away. On Wednesday, August 13, 2008, President/CEO Dave Doss will present the car to the lucky winner, Sarah Stansauk, of Prescott Valley. The celebration will take place at the Prescott Valley branch of Arizona State Credit Union located at 7111 Pav Way beginning at noon. Sarah was entered in the hybrid car drawing through the Drive Blue Car Sale at Arizona State Credit Union earlier this spring.
"I was so excited to hear that I won the Prius, I had never won anything before and what a great drawing to actually win," said Sarah of Prescott Valley, "It took a few days to actually sink in - I won a car!"
Through the Drive Blue Car Sale, Arizona State Credit Union offered promotional rates for all vehicles and entered each member with a new or refinanced loan into the drawing to win the 2008 Prius. To further support the green initiative, the Credit Union offered even lower rates to people who purchased hybrid vehicles. With the combination of the Prius giveaway and lower rates for hybrids, Arizona State Credit Union promoted a healthier environment.
"Supporting energy efficiency is a perfect way to keep our beautiful Arizona skies blue," said David E. Doss, "presenting this Prius is a great way to continue those efforts."
This 2008 Toyota Prius was purchased at Tim's Buick Pontiac GMC Toyota Hyundai and Isuzu dealership in Prescott Valley and is well-equipped with everything from climate control to power windows. The Prius averages 50 miles per gallon and benefits the environment with ultra-low emission ratings.
